NORMUN 2024
“Model United Nations is a simulation of the UN General Assembly and other multilateral bodies. In Model UN, students step into the shoes of ambassadors from UN member states to debate current issues on the organization’s agenda. While playing their role as ambassadors, student delegates make speeches, prepare draft, resolutions, negotiate with allies and adversaries, resolve conflicts, and navigate the Model UN conference rules of procedure – all in the interest of mobilizing international cooperation to resolve problems that affect countries all over the world.” – UNA-USA
the theme for NORMUN 2023 is “A world elevated by technology”.
Mission
The mission of NORMUN 2024 centers on fostering global understanding and collaboration by simulating the United Nations' diplomatic processes. Participants engage in discussions on international issues to develop practical diplomatic skills and a deeper appreciation for the complexities of international relations.
Vision
The vision of NORMUN 2024 is to inspire future leaders to actively contribute to global peace, security, and development by encouraging the next generation to explore solutions to contemporary world challenges through debate and teamwork.
